Million Pixel Market
How it works
Buy tiny pieces of a public digital board. Each purchased pixel gets a color, an owner, and optionally a short message.
Add funds
Create an account, choose a username, and add money to your wallet through Stripe.
Pick pixels
Zoom into the 1000 x 1000 board, choose one or more available pixels, pick a color, and add an optional short message.
Buy and own
When you confirm, the purchase is written to the board and your wallet balance is reduced.
Inspect and report
Anyone can click owned pixels to see the owner, price, date, and message. Harmful content can be reported for admin review.
After sellout
Marketplace unlocks
When all 1,000,000 pixels have been sold for the first time, the marketplace is planned to open. At that point, owners will be able to list pixels they already own for resale.
Buyers will be able to browse listed pixels, buy them with wallet balance, and receive ownership after the transaction completes. Sellers will receive wallet credit for completed sales, minus any marketplace fee shown at the time of sale.
Resale prices will be set by sellers and are not guaranteed. A pixel may sell for more, less, or not sell at all.
A few important notes
Pixels are digital display items, not financial products. Buying a pixel does not guarantee profit, traffic, visibility, or resale value.
Purchased pixels are final and are not refundable. Wallet balance that has not been spent can be withdrawn once withdrawals are available and the balance is at least $10.
Hate, racist, illegal, abusive, spam, scam, or otherwise harmful content can be removed by admins without a refund for the purchased pixel.
